Alright, has anybody actually seen any of this gear in person? The design on everything is obviously incredible, the price is insane on some of these tho....

$1500 for a field recorder??

But their EP-133 seems like a fun little sampler for $300, but I wonder if its all style and no substance

Usually the best stuff I hear from OP1 is ambient or downtempo. Def expensive for a 4 track machine, but you can find some deals second hand. I would be more interested in Digitone Keys for that price range.

Yeah imo if you are looking at similar gear the Elektron syntakt and digitone are much better. Kursa uses a Syntakt in his hardware sets, I've also owned one and they're pretty slick

I caved and picked up a used EP-133

It is my first sampler I've ever owned, but the immediacy of this thing has me very excited.

Was able to craft really cool ideas almost right out of the box, with just a short read through the quickstart guide. Loaded it up with some UKG samples and was slapping out beats in no time.

The plan is to get some fun routines prepped and film them for some IG content. But will also post a more in depth dive on here later!

Super sick, didn't realize you can load samples with this one. Game changer for the pricepoint
